ELITE Youth Worldwide

ELITE Youth Worldwide (Education, Leadership, Integrity, Togetherness, Empowerment) is a curriculum-based program founded in August 2001 in Richmond, Virginia. Dedicated to serving at-risk youth ages 15 to 19 from low to moderate income households, ELITE’s mission is to develop financially responsible leaders who will build stronger communities.

ELITE offers weekly youth leadership and entrepreneurship programs in Richmond, VA, and is expanding to serve the District of Columbia and Maryland. Our program uses a proven curriculum focused on:

• Financial education
• Entrepreneurship training
• Leadership development

We host a variety of annual events and workshops designed to empower young adults with practical skills and positive values.

For over 16 years, ELITE has transformed the lives of countless young people:

• Helped single mothers return to high school, graduate, and attend college
• Guided unemployable youth to become job-ready through pre-employment training
• Fostered positive social skills and provided a safe space for personal growth

Our program disrupts cycles of poverty, bullying, violence, dropping out, and teenage parenting by providing mentorship, education, and nurturing support.

ELITE is committed to fixing gaps in the educational system that contribute to poverty and low self-esteem. By empowering youth with leadership and entrepreneurship skills, we aim to reduce bullying, suicide, and violence in schools—and foster lasting change in our communities.
